A lot of people are fascinated with aliens, UFOs, and extraterrestrials. But did you know there are festivals in the world for alien lovers? Wacky as it may seem, but yes, there are such things happening all around the world for the ones who believe in alien life and who are charmed by all things related to UFO. Here is a list of top 10 out of this world festivals that take place internationally each year:
1 – Roswell UFO Festival – Roswell, New Mexico
The Roswell incident is much talked about, and probably one of the most famous in terms of alien visitation claims, where an unusual 1947 crash caused a local rancher, Mac Brazel, to find pieces of debris on his property, which were later described as part of a highly classified atomic espionage project.
The annual Roswell festival is held from late June to early July and spanning four days, and the list of activities in the Roswell festival includes a planetarium, an Alien Chase – 5-kilometer (3 mi) or 10-kilometer (6 mi) walk/run, a costume contest, a light parade, and a window-decorating contest.
2 – Exeter UFO Festival – Exeter, New Hampshire
Home to a particularly unusual alien abduction in 1961 of Betty and Barney Hill, Exeter, New Hampshire, has hosted this festival for the past five years and many experts in the field flock to Exeter each year for this event. A free trolley ride to the spot of the 1965 incident, speakers, food, music, and souvenirs are available for extraterrestrial believers of all ages.
