A cat café is set to open in Manchester, where you’ll be able to enjoy a coffee with not one, but 10 furry friends.
Every visitor will be given a time card upon arrival at Cat Café Manchester and will be charged £1 for every five minutes spending at the venue.
All hot and cold drinks, plus time with the cats, will be unlimited and included within the price.
A group of ten cats live in the café, full time, and as a customer you can play with them, stroke them, and even have a nap with one if they choose to curl up on your lap. For a few hours in the week you can have a pet.
Sisters Ellie and Sarah Close, who run the café, believe that chilling out with the kitties will not only be fun for customers, but may also improve their mental health.
The café will also host cat yoga classes, group mindfulness sessions and a cat speed dating event every week.
The café will be also be manned 24 hours a day by staff so the kitties will never be left on their own.
Ellie and Sarah are currently searching for cat nannies to look after the ‘general well-being of the Manchester Cat family’ alongside encouraging customer interaction with the cats.
