Everybody has his dreams: some wish to move to the big city with a vibrant life, the others on the contrary to the small town with a slow run. The story of Erin Benzakein of Floret Flower Farm shows that all dreams can come true, you just need to really do something to achieve it. Her family moved to a countryside of Skagit Valley, Washington in order to be closer to nature, eat fresh veggies and fruit, take care of chickens and have an orchard of their own.
Benzakein still remembers the first blossoming in her orchard, sweet peas she planted in honor of her granny. As grandmother was the one who always introduced her to new flowers and plants since childhood.
This special connection between people is inspirational part of the Floret Flower Farm’s philosophy. The company depends on the all family hands to support the earth we strive for, the other florist farmers and their customers. One of the ways how Benakein and her family cultivate global network of floral enthusiasts is through farm workshops for farmers and floral designers around the world.
Floret Flower Farms is all about sharing, so every day you can watch the new pictures on their Instagram account of the beautiful dahlias and creamy red roses. After such photos you will want to leave your laptop and run to plant the flowers of your own.
