“Public transit situates us so that we are given license to accept what’s right in front of us, but will likely arouse our desire to compare our narrative to someone else’s, to give ourselves permission to speculate upon a person’s private space, or life, with no fear of recourse or punishment.”
― Julie Wilson,
Public transport is a place where you get to meet weird and different kind of people. Some get to your nerves too. If you have travelled in a public transport, you will know how it is not always a pleasure to travel along with the other people. A great journey is not always guaranteed. You are bound to come across weirdos such as the ones who will just cling on your shoulder and sleep without even thinking once that it might be bothering you.
1 – The Public Space Invader
You are sitting comfortably and the very next moment you realise that a person next to you is way too close!
2 – The Fast Food Eater
Everyone like fast-food, but you won’t always like to smell that everywhere, like in a bus or a metro may be.
3 – The Man-Spreader
This can disgust you to the core. Enough said!
4 – The Loud Swearer
You sure don’t want to listen to what someone else is talking about, but he or she is so loud sometimes that your earphones also don’t seem to work.
5 – The Pole Hogger
There is at least one pole hogger in every public transport.
6 – The Constant Sniffer
A person constantly sniffing, can sure press the wrong nerve of yours. It gets irritating and more than that, unhygienic.
7 – The Excessive PDA Couple
Sometimes it is the last thing you would want to look at.
8 – The Falls Asleep On Your Shoulder Napper
That napper who does not realise the difference between your shoulder and a pillow.
9 – The We Can All Hear Your Music Headphone Wearer
You don’t want to listen to the music but, the headphone wearer next to you thinks of himself to be no less than a jammer.
10 – The Impossibly Slow Tourist
Looking around in a tourist attraction place is not bad, but walking dead slow, is.
