Meet the chef – Adam Sobel who has a serious mission he’s been accomplishing since 2010: he has been wandering around the streets of New York with his food truck – the Cinnamon Snail and sharing his vegan dishes in the streets, attracting more and more people for this plant – based food. Through the years the audience has changed and more people are getting attracted to the Cinnamon Snail. One of the major reasons to that according to the chef is that when people see the line down the block plus a huge display with delicious donuts and pastries, they can’t handle the urge to try! Now Cinnamon Snail has even a brick based home plus a truck wondering around and spreading the importance of vegan food.
In the beginning of this project, Sobel showed up once a week in new area, mostly where was no vegan cafe and restaurant. People like the idea of a sudden food experience, which happened to be harmless to animals.
Even at home all the family is having the same food preferences, eating a lot of brown rice, greens, tofu accompanied with tons of yummy sauces. Having kids means that their house is also full of vegan southern food, Thai meals, tacos and burritos.
By looking at the gorgeous pastries and sandwiches, it is hard to believe that some of them are gluten free and totally vegan. Thanks to such a roaming truck people are getting more acquainted with vegan food and healthy lifestyle, with no harm to environment!
