10 Egg Recipes Boosting Weight Loss

Eggs are one of the few foods considered to be a complete protein, because they contain all 9 essential amino acids, vitamines and minerals. Egg yolk once had a bad reputation for being a cholesterol hellraiser, but the USDA (United States Department of Argiculture) has recently come out with a study that proves choline (the nutrient in egg yolk) is a belly-fat fighter that promotes cell activity, liver function, and the transportation of nutrients throughout the body.

When you’re trying to eat healthy, eggs are a great choise for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or even as just a snack. The key is to use the eggs in a variety of different ways by adding spices or seasonings and pairing them with loads of wholesome vegetables and grains. If you got tired of traditional scrambled eggs, here are 10 recipes that will make your meals not only delicious but will boost weight loss as well:

1. Egg masala

Ingredients : eggs, oil,onions ,tomatoes, coriander, green chillies ,masala powder, turmeric powder,  red chillies powder, salt, garlic paste.

How to cook:

  1. Fry chopped onions in the hot pan;
  2. After 5 minutes add some green chillies and coriander leaves;
  3. Add a touch of turmeric powder, tomatoes , red chili powder and garlic paste . Let the mixture cook for few minutes.
  4. Add masala in the very end.
  5. In a separate pan cook hard boiled eggs, peel them and add to already made sauce – curry.

2. Omlet

Ingredients: eggs, oil, onions , coriander, green chillies , masala powder, turmeric powder,  red chillies powder, garlic paste, curry leaves and salt.

How to cook:

  1. Break the eggs into the bowl and mix them thoroughly;
  2. Put some red chillies powder, garlic paste and pepper;
  3. In a hot pan fry a little bit of chopped onions along with curry leaves and a pinch of salt;
  4. Pour the egg mixture into the pan with frying onions, cover with a lid until cooked.

3. Egg bhurji

Ingridients: eggs, oil, onions , coriander, green chillies , masala powder, turmeric powder,  red chillies powder, garlic paste, curry leaves and salt.

How to cook:

  1. In a hot pan fry onions, curry leaves and green chillies;
  2. Season the mixture with salt, turmeric powder , some garlic paste and cook it for few minutes;
  3. Break the eggs inside the mixture and keep stirring until the eggs fall into small pieces, like scrambled one.

4. Bread omlet

Ingridients: bread,eggs, oil, onions , coriander, green chillies , masala powder, turmeric powder,  red chillies powder, garlic paste, curry leaves and salt.

How to cook:

  1. Mix up the eggs like you usually do for an omelet. Spice it up with red chilli powder, salt and garlic paste;
  2. Take the bread and dip in the egg mixture;
  3. Put the slice of bread dipped in the egg mixture on the really hot pan with oil and let it cook until the eggs are done;
  4. Garnish it with curry leaves and coriander and add some green chillies if you miss a spicy flavor.

5. Egg bell pepper rings

Ingredients: bell pepper, 2eggs, two red onions chopped.

How to cook:

  1. Cut down the bell pepper into 2 pieces and cut it into thin ring pieces;
  2. Put the rings in the hot pan with an oil already in it, and beat two eggs just inside the two bell pepper rings;
  3. Add chopped onions into the rings;
  4. Cover with a lid for few seconds and your dish is ready.

6. Scrambled egg

Ingridients: olive oil, chopped tomatoes, chopped onions, 6 eggs, red paprika powder.

How to make it:

  1. Fry chopped onions and green chillies for two minutes;
  2. Add some chopped tomatoes to the mixture;
  3. In the separate bowl whisk eggs like for omelet and pour the mixture into the pan with tomatoes and onions;
  4. Keep stirring the mixture until it get cooked.

7. Omlet sandwich

Ingridients: eggs, 1 table spoon red pepper, 2 chopped green chili ,1/2 table spoon salt, 2 wheat bread slices, 1 table spoon  tomato ketchup, red chili, chat masala.

How to cook:

  1. Mix the eggs in a bowl with red green pepper, chili, salt;
  2. Take two slices of bread and cover with a thin layer of ketchup;
  3. Preheat the frying pan with oil, put the slices of bread into the pan and pour the eggs mixture on top. Season with red chilli pepper and chat masala;
  4. Cut the omlet into small pieces;
  5. Place the pieces of cooked omelet on the bread , cover with a slice of cheese, close a sandwich with another slice of bread and let it fry for few seconds in the pan until cheese gets soft.

8. Eggs with spinach

Ingridients: egg , cheese, spinach, garlic, oil, salt.

How to cook:

  1. Whisk eggs with a cheese;
  2. In the preheated pan fry for few seconds garlic, add spinach and salt and let it get cooked;
  3. Pour the egg mixture on top of the spinach, mix up well and let your dish get cooked.

9. Lebanese style Eggs

Ingridients: egg, oil, salt, sweet pepper, nutmeg.

How to cook:

  1. Start with frying sweet peppers with a pinch of salt;
  2. Add the eggs into the mixture with a touch of nutmeg;
  3. Let the eggs get cooked and only after add a touch of hot water if you like it soupy.

  1. In the preheated pan fry minced or diced meat with garlic, salt and pepper;
  2. When the meat is almost done, beat the eggs inside the pan and season with salt and pepper;
  3. You can either leave your eggs sunny side up or make a scramble with fried meat.
