The meal isn’t over in Italy until something sweet, or dolce, hits the tongue. Italians know better than most how to romance a sweet tooth, and pastry chef Matteo Stucchi is playing his part to keep the Italian delicacies on top. He’s doing it by creating intricate desserts that look just like miniature worlds frozen in time.
Monza-based creative chef fills his delicacies with little figurines and turns them into edible scenarios. From construction sites to full-blown neighborhoods which seem to be teeming with life.
“A dessert’s looks is just as important as its taste,” says Matteo and 35,000 followers on Instagram couldn’t agree more.
